You will be a registered nurse who will support the district nurse in delivering care to patients within the caseload, providing accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. You will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the district nursing team to provide a quality nursing service. You will manage delegated activity within the caseload, and provide support to other members of district nursing team. Recent experience working within a community setting is desirable. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Adult Nurse with the NMC and that you have evidence of continuing professional development. You should have a current driving licence. Having V150 or V300 qualification and recent experience of working within Adult Community Nursing would be desirable. The shift pattern for this post is working between the hours of 11.00pm – 8.30am and 4.00pm – 11.00pm.
