We have an exciting opportunity for a Business Support Assistant to join our Business Support team within our North West Alcohol and Drug Recovery Service. This is a permanent full time post with shifts running 9.00am until 5.00pm.
If you join our team you will be tasked with providing comprehensive, secretarial and administrative support to the Head of Service and the wider team as they require. You will be required to be an efficient administrator who contirbutes directly to achievement of the role of the management team through provision of a variety of secretarial and administrative duties. You will work independently for most of the time and will b required to develop a clear understanding of the organisation.
You will also provide support to front line operational staff in te multi-disciplinary team who provide an assessment and support service to patients with an identified drug or alcohol addiction. The tasks completed must be completed efficiently and accurately to ensure operational service can be provided to the patient. Specific skills that will be required are keyboard skills, command of verbal and written English, organisational and team skills as well as enthusiasm for work.
In order to be successful for this role you must be conversant with office procesures and systems and be able to demonstrate prior experience of working in a secretarial or administrative role. You will be required to have a recognised Administration qualification equivalent to HNC or SQV Level 3; or relevant practical experience.
