NHS HIGHLAND MEDICAL LOCUM BANK

NHS Highland is recruiting doctors to our Medical locum bank to support the organisation in either a Fixed Term or Staff Bank Contract in the coming months.

We have a variety of options available to you from weekend shifts to longer term periods

• You will be paid NHS rates of pay according to your grade and time you work
• You will receive return travel expenses to take up post
• You will be provided with single accommodation and subsistence
• If you have to travel to deliver the service a car will be provided to you
• If you undertake regular work you could even have NHS Highland as a prescribed connection for revalidation with the GMC (certain conditions apply)

Locums are required in:

• Caithness General Hospital, Wick
• Raigmore Hospital, Inverness
• New Craigs Hospital, Inverness
• Belford Hospital, Fort William
• Lorn & Islands Hospital, Oban
• Argyll & Bute Hospital, Lochgilphead

Anyone applying for these post must be prepared to work in patient areas where strict infection control measures are in place and under the guidance of clinical staff.

All appropriate training and personal protective equipment will be provided.
