The purpose of the Trauma Liaison Nurse Service within NHS Lanarkshire is to provide a service for patients which is equitable and one which ensures that the individual needs of all our patients are met thus creating a seamless approach to the patient’s journey.

The Trauma Liaison Nurse Practitioner will provide a Trauma Nurse Specialist Service. This is an evolving role, which will require you to undertake further training in extended practice and as a team work towards an advanced service of provision.

The postholder will be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration, educated to/working towards/operating at degree level with postgraduate expertise within speciality/area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safely, effectively and efficiently. 

MINTS major/minor qualification & Non Medical Prescribing qualification is desirable.
