You will develop, implement and evaluate the Community Respiratory Service. Provide leadership to the staff within the Community Respiratory Service to deliver the highest standards of patient centred care in providing timely interventions to people with chronic respiratory disease. Ensure compliance with statutory responsibilities, professional guidelines and policies and procedures of the organisation.  You will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience taking responsibility for an identified complex caseload. You will provide support, guidance and clinical leadership to qualified staff and support staff within the multi disciplinary team and have responsibility for day to day operational management including performance monitoring.  You will have a degree or diploma leading to Physiotherapy HPC Registration and hold current HPC registration.  You will have substantial post registration experience with experience of working at a senior level within Respiratory.  You will evidence relevant training and application of acquired knowledge and skills relating to specialty and evidence supervisory experience within the NHS.   You should be able to demonstrate effective leadership and effective management skills.  The shift pattern for this post is Wednesday – Friday (may require occasional weekend working)
