We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated individual with visionary leadership skills to work in partnership to deliver the Community Nursing agenda in the Stirling/ Clackmannan area and to work with staff and partners towards the Modernisation of Nursing in the Community and the Integration of Health and Social Care. 
 
The post holder will work in partnership with District Nurses, GPs, Public Health Practitioners, Local Authorities and the HSCP Management Team in a co-ordinated team approach to provide a high quality of care within this agenda.
 
The post holder will provide support to the Clinical Nurse Manager and the Locality Manager while operationally managing nurses in the Stirling/ Clackmannan area as delegated by the Clinical Nurse Manager.
There is a clinical component with this post.
 
The post holder will have an awareness and understanding of the recent changes within the modernisation of the NHS, current professional and strategic policy drivers and the impact this will have on delivery of a patient centred service.  In addition you must be able to operate in a range of complex and multi-disciplinary inter-agency settings.
 
You will need to be a RN with a District Nurse Specialist qualification, educated to Degree level, with previous  post registration experience and evidence of ongoing professional development.  An understanding of information technology is essential.  We offer training induction and development opportunities to support personal and professional development.
