We require a Medical Laboratory Assistant to join the Scottish Bowel Screening Centre Laboratory team at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The position includes receiving and prioritising faecal sample kits in preparation for testing, disposal of clinical samples, carrying out other laboratory duties and supporting the quality management of the Scottish Bowel Screening Programme.
You will be working as part of a team in a busy centre processing thousands of items per day. Experience of working in a laboratory environment would be advantageous but not essential as training will be given.
You will be required to achieve the mandatory Induction standards for Healthcare Support Workers in Scotland and to comply with the Code of Conduct throughout your employment.
