You will provide an accessible, appropriate, high quality, culturally sensitive and effective nursing service to all age groups in the community, by working in partnership with service users, care providers and other agencies. You will function as an independent autonomous practitioner by virtue of in-depth knowledge, expertise, proficiency and experience to lead and enable the district nursing team to provide a quality nursing service. You will be a registered nurse who will support the district nurse in delivering care to patients within the caseload. You will be responsible for providing skilled nursing interventions for patients within the caseload. You will manage delegated activity within the caseload, and provide support to other members of district nursing team. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC. Consideration will be given to applicants looking for part time hours. The shift pattern for this post is between Monday-Sunday and will include weekends and public holidays.
This is a Fixed Term post for 12 months.
