This is a dynamic specialist Rehabilitation Service, within which, the Pharmacy Technician is an integral member of the multidisciplinary team. You will support the safe and effective use of medication by patients receiving intervention or treatment from the South Sector Rehab Service. The post holder will be delegated identified tasks by the team Pharmacist or nominated Deputy/ or other designated team members as service need indicates. You will work independently in a range of community settings, providing pharmaceutical care following agreed protocols. You will contribute to the clinical governance, risk management and continuing professional development agendas across the service. As a Qualified Pharmacy Technician, you will be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council; you will have National Certificate in Pharmaceutical Services/ Pharmacy service or equivalent knowledge, SVQ Pharmacy Services Level 3 or demonstrate equivalent level of competency to this. It is essential that you have a current driving licence. The shift pattern for this post is between Monday – Sunday 8.30am – 4.30pm.
