We are currently seeking to recruit bank porters to join our team at Lawson Memorial Hospital. The successful candidates will also be required to provide portering services at the Lawson Memorial Hospital, Golspie, Migdale Hospital, Bonar Bridge, local care homes and health centres. Applicants should hold a full, clean driving licence.
This post is on an 'as and when required basis' with no fixed hours. We offer comprehensive induction and training.
Duties may include driving a Transit Van to collect and deliver Equipment and Stores to various NHS & Highland Council Locations throughout Sutherland and Caithness. The safe and efficient transportation of patients (frequently unaccompanied), including their associated monitors I.V drips, pumps and oxygen etc, through the use of trolleys and wheelchairs to and from A and E, Wards and Departments. The collection and delivery of blood samples and specimens to wards and departments. The removal of rubbish and linen and waste to designated areas in line with NHS Highland Policies.
