Information Services Division of NHS National Services Scotland has over 40 years’ experience of supporting NHSScotland to deliver better health outcomes: better data means better lives.  We are the largest employer of information staff in Scotland.  We work with clinicians, health and social care practitioners, managers, researchers and others across the wider public service and beyond.  (In line with the national reform aims of the Scottish Government’s Health& Social Care Delivery Plan, Public Health & Intelligence will become part of a new Public Health Body for Scotland, to be known as Public Health Scotland.  This means that as a result, all employees will be transferred to the new organisation which is anticipated to be during 2019/2020.)

 

We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our growing team.  As one of our Senior Information Analysts you will:

  • Analyse and link data to improve services for and the lives of the people of Scotland
  • Use a wide range of data sources and powerful analytics tools to provide insight that supports better decision making
  • Provide robust evidence to influence the future shape of health and care services

This is an excellent chance to use and grow your skills and experience in:

  • Analysing and interpreting complex data and communicating insights in a customer focussed environment
  • Ability to coach, develop and line manage staff
  • Presenting complex data effectively through the use of data visualisation techniques

Successful candidates will be based in Edinburgh, Glasgow and other parts of Scotland.
