National Services Scotland (NSS) is looking for an experienced PA/administrator to join the Health Protection Support Services team in Public Health and Intelligence.


The person we are looking for will be a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and outstanding organisational abilities, able to deal confidently with senior managers, staff and stakeholders. They will be confident, self-organised, meticulous and an active team player who loves to work in a busy environment. If that sounds like you, read on.
 
The post holder will need to be flexible, as the job entails undertaking a variety of duties including but not limited to, confidential secretarial and administrative support, diary management, and project administration. 


They will also act as secretariat for meetings and steering groups involving stakeholders and representatives from across Scotland and will have excellent communication, planning and organisation skills.


They will have an HNC/HND in Office Administration (or related subject) or equivalent level of experience and be able to demonstrate an ability to operate within a senior administrative and secretarial role.


Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, in particular Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required and a knowledge of PECOS and Crown administration would be beneficial, though training will be provided. Still interested? Then we’d like to hear from you.
