This post will be working with a hearing loss CYPS client group based within the South Partnership.  Full driving licence holder is essential. 


The successful candidate will manage a caseload using evidence based practice to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.  They will deliver comprehensive specialist Speech and Language Therapy services to CYPS clients with a variety of communication difficulties and/or eating/drinking/swallowing difficulties.  This service will be delivered in a variety of settings. The post holder is expected to have relevant clinical skills, knowledge and experience across a broad spectrum of diagnosis and aetiologies.


Applicants must be HCPC registered with a degree in Speech & Language Pathology or equivalent and further education/CPD.  They will be able to demonstrate postgraduate expertise within the speciality and comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards.  They must also have specialist knowledge and experience of relevant conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with the speciality.   Excellent communication and team working skills are essential.
