QUEEN ELIZABETH UNIVERSITY HOSPITAL CLINICAL PHARMACY TECHNICIAN – Neurosciences, OMFS, Spinal

Band 5

37 hours per week

Does the opportunity to help develop a new clinical pharmacy service appeal to you? Would you like the opportunity to work in a supportive environment with motivated clinical pharmacists where you can use and develop your pharmacy knowledge and skills? We are seeking a dynamic and highly motivated registered Pharmacy Technician to become an integral member of the neurosciences pharmacy team working as a Clinical Pharmacy Technician. You will work closely with the neurosciences clinical pharmacists and the wider multidisciplinary team to provide high quality, patient focussed pharmaceutical care to patients within the INS. You will be involved in obtaining and documenting medication histories, facilitating and streamlining the discharge process and liaising with GP’s, community pharmacists and the primary care team. You must be registered with The General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) and have an accredited dispensary checking technician qualification (PDCT). You should have significant post-qualification experience and excellent communication skills. Suitable training will be provided to the successful applicant. The hours will be worked Monday to Friday with participation in weekend and public holiday rotas.
