ICST provides a coordinated approach to delivering accessible, appropriate, high quality and effective health and social care to people within the community working with other partner agencies towards the Scottish Government’s 2020 vision Shifting the Balance of Care and the National Delivery Plan for Allied Health Professionals.


The post holder will undertake operational management lead for the multi-disciplinary team in collaboration with other partner agencies i.e. primary care, social care, acute care, third sector and independent providers, be accountable for the 24 hour delivery of this service and contribute to the ongoing service design, development, implementation and evaluation of the Service.


The successful candidate must be a Registered Nurse or Registered Allied Health professional with 5 years post registration experience, 2 years expert practice in the speciality and evidence of relevant CPD within the speciality of the team.  They must also be educated to degree level and possess evidence of personal contribution to service planning and redesign projects.  They should have demonstrable knowledge of multi-disciplinary and inter-agency team working practices, excellent team working skills, with the ability to work on own initiative, effective listening, communication and interpersonal skills and evidence effective managerial skills. 


The post is based within Cambuslang Rutherglen Locality.
