An exciting opportunity has arisen within the South School Nursing Team.


The refocused school nursing role envisages a continuing focus on prevention, early intervention and support for the most vulnerable children over five years, following on from the role and focus of health visiting. As Team Leader for School nursing you will be a key leader in the implementation of the new school nursing roles across South Lanarkshire. Supporting the Service Manager and Senior nurse in implement


You will need to be exemplary in practice and the post holders will provide effective leadership to the School Nurse team across the community sites. Through sound understanding of the School Nursing Reform and the ability to work within an environment of change management. You will be responsible for the management of caseloads ensuring the provision of high standards of nursing care to the school age population and their families. The post holder will also have a clinical competent to their role including mentorship and supervision of school nurses.
