An opportunity has arisen for a System Support & Training Manager to join the national HR Systems (eESS & Jobtrain) team.
eESS provides NHS Scotland with a single national HR system covering all employee and workforce information including training, employee relations, employee management, and reporting. Jobtrain provides NHS Scotland with a single national digital recruitment system covering all stages in the recruitment process.
The function of the System Support & Training Manager will be to ensure effective and efficient management of the systems through supervising and co-ordinating the efforts of a multi-disciplinary team of training and support systems administrators whose main support responsibilities will focus on the continuous development, support and maintenance of these systems, to NHS Scotland. A significant requirement of the role is to manage new technology, service delivery or upgrade projects; and act as Project Lead in projects that have a significant IT element, and manage the impact to the services delivered to NHS Scotland, by leading the transition from projects to business as usual support services. The role will involve travel around NHS Scotland as required.
