A vacancy has arisen for a full time Secretary within the Infection Prevention and Control Services based in the Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh.

Working with the administration team, the successful candidate will be self-motivated have a positive attitude, ability to work well as part of a team. Applicants require a flexible approach to work and be willing to provide cross cover to the wider Infection Prevention & Control Service.

IT literacy and a robust experience of Microsoft office packages is essential along with a high degree of organisational and communication skills ensuring accuracy and attention to detail in their work.

Experience of working in an administration role and a busy environment would be beneficial. The post holder will often be required to work to tight timescales with minimal supervision and may have to manage competing priorities in a busy and unpredictable service environment.

Experience of working with web pages would be desirable, training will be provided.
