Secondment backfill until June 2021

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to work within our Health Improvement (Health Psychology) Team in the Psychology Directorate at NES.  

The team aims to use knowledge of health psychology theories and approaches and best practice in research and training methods to develop, deliver and evaluate evidence based health psychology training for a range of health and social care professionals.  

You will assist the Head of Programme – Health Improvement in delivering and evaluating the MAP (Motivation, Action, Prompts) blended learning programme, and further development of online learning, skills training, supervision and coaching. 

The post also includes a wider remit within NES Psychology to support promotion of health and well-being for all staff and across health and social care in Scotland, to develop a skilled and healthy workforce.  

You will be educated to Masters Level, or equivalent, and have experience of working in Health Psychology.  

Experience of delivering and developing training materials will be desirable, along with experience of managing project/planning deadlines.  

This post will be based in either Glasgow or Edinburgh and regular travel throughout Scotland will be required due to the nature of this post.

This post (0.5 wte) is available as secondment backfill on a temporary basis up to June 2021.
