Who We Are 

NHS Education for Scotland (NES) is an education and training body and a special health board within NHS Scotland, with responsibility of developing and delivering education and training for the healthcare workforce in Scotland.  

What You'll Do

An experienced and motivated administrator is required to provide a business administration function.  You will provide full administrative support primarily to the Psychology of Parenting workstream, but cross Directorate support will also be required.  Tasks will include event and meeting planning/organisation, arranging training materials, updating training data and information, diary management, correspondence, as well as maintaining databases and spreadsheets.  You will be a key contact for a range of staff and work areas/topics.

What You'll Bring

Educated to HNC level or equivalent (preferably in a Business Administration related field), you will have a range of administrative experience, with clear evidence of being able to work independently on a day to day basis and balancing a wide range of competing priorities.  Working experience of the full range of Microsoft office packages is essential, including Word and Excel.     

You will bring excellent interpersonal and communication skills to the role, as well as demonstrating an ability to organise work flexibly within a multi-stakeholder/multi-deadline environment. 

The main base is Glasgow however there will be a requirement to support work in both Edinburgh and Glasgow on a regular basis (travel expenses paid in accordance with NES Travel & Subsistence policy), therefore flexibility is required.
