The Pharmacy Deanery, within the Medical Directorate, has overall responsibility for the strategic direction and development of postgraduate Pharmacy Education in Scotland. This is an excellent opportunity for a suitably experienced candidate ready to contribute to a busy innovative area of work.

What you'll do

You will provide full administrative support primarily to the team focused on the delivery of Additional Cost of Teaching in Pharmacy (ACTp), as well as to the wider NES Pharmacy Team.  Tasks will include creating and managing large data sets and spreadsheets; managing communications and contact across pharmacy settings; event/meeting planning/organisation; arranging training materials; updating training and spend data/information and elements of diary management.  You will be a main communication contact particularly focused on the work of ACTp and also for the Pharmacy Team when required.   

What you'll bring

You will bring a range of administrative experience and be able to demonstrate a wide range of relevant skills including working experience of Microsoft Office packages, particularly Excel, Word and Teams.  Experience of balancing multiple deadlines and tasks is essential as is the focus on attention to detail.  Due to the emphasis on communication within this national role, we require excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as the ability to self-organise within a busy working environment.
