The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00.

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Deep Brain Stimulation and Movement Disorder Team, based in the Institute of Neurological Sciences, Queen Elizabeth University Hospital.
This post will support the clinical team in the operation of outpatient clinics, inpatient management and a telephone helpline to support patients in the management of the management of their movement disorder. This post will have exposure to patients undergoing Deep Brain Stimulation, and they will assist and develop treatment plans to that effect.
Applicants with experience in movement disorder and advanced neurological conditions are welcome. This post is advertised as a Band 7 position, however, should interested applicants not meet all criteria this post will also be available as a B7 Annexe 21 until the required competencies are met.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
