The shift pattern for this post is: Monday - Friday, 08:45 - 17:00.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and driven Operational Service Support Manager to join the team at West of Scotland Mobility and Rehabilitation Centre (WestMARC)
The post will be based at the Queen Elizabeth University Hopistal site, with travel to satellite centres based in Yorker and Motherwell.
We are seeking an enthusiastic candidate who possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills to secure clinical and operational engagement and support the delivery of safe, effective person-centred care. The appointee will report to the Clinical Services Managers of the Institute of Neurological Sciences. Additionally, the post holder will work closely with the WestMARC Clinical Lead
The post holder will have an integral role within the management team working closely with multidisciplinary staff to contribute to the corporate management of the service. The post holder will play a lead role in project management and performance reporting to support the delivery of a highly complex and varied programme of work cross WestMARC.
The post holder will also support the senior management team in monitoring expenditure, budget setting, identifying variance and the development and delivery of the financial agenda including the “Sustainability & Value” programme.
The post holder will have managerial responsibility for the administration support services and the waiting times teams within WestMARC.
Experience in handling complaints, SPSO enquiries and FOI requests along with suitable knowledge of UK GDPR practices, data protection and privacy, is highly desired.

As from 1st April 2026, the Agenda for Change full-time working week will be reducing from 37 to 36 hours per week. Part time hours will be reduced pro-rata. However, there will be a corresponding increase in the hourly rate so that pay will not be affected.
