Mobile Testing Unit (MTU) Operatives (East Region)
The COVID-19 National Testing Programme is one of the key measures in place to support the UK’s action plan against COVID-19.
The Scottish Ambulance Service are recruiting Operatives for a 6 month fixed term contract who will support the testing service. The contract may be extended.
The contracted hours are 37.5 per week on a 4 day on/4 day off rota. Basic salary is £18,600 pa plus unsocial payments. Travel to locations is involved and some overnight stays may be necessary. Full training, uniform and PPE will all be provided.

Start date for Operatives is 3rd August 2020 for training etc. The live programme commences end of August 2020. We aim to conduct short interviews via Microsoft Teams and will commence on 20th July 2020.

MTU Teams will operate from designated base stations in Melrose, Kirkcaldy, Falkirk, Edinburgh and Dundee but will remain deployable nationally.
