Our goal is to maintain the highest standards to patient care whilst remaining internationally competitive.  


We are looking for a friendly, confident, dynamic and outgoing nurse for one of our Collection Teams based in Edinburgh.  You will require excellent interpersonal, communication and organisational skills and be able to lead, manage and work within a team. You will be self motivated, proactive and an innovative individual with the ability to be flexible and react positively to on-going changing demands and priorities. 


Knowledge of blood collection processes would be advantageous as you will be required to undertake venepuncture and medical selection duties. You must also be able to demonstrate evidence of ongoing professional development working within the competencies framework. 


The position is based in Edinburgh; however extensive travel throughout Central and South East Scotland is required. You must be flexible, and willing to work variable hours. Hours will include regular late evenings and weekend working


The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure Scotland check. 


Any candidate who have lived/worked overseas for more than 12 months in the preceding 5 years will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency.
