NETWORK LEAD CLINICIAN
Strategic Fertility Network
Fixed term up to 3 years
Up to 3 PAs/week in total
National Services Division (NSD) is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and highly motivated Lead Clinician for the new Strategic Fertility Network, providing leadership to the network jointly with the network Lead Scientist.
Working closely with clinical and NSD colleagues the post holder will have a key strategic role in promoting and driving forward the development of an effective, integrated, multidisciplinary fertility service throughout Scotland.
Applicants will be leaders in their clinical field with experience in the provision and development of fertility services. A proven record in leading change, ability to work across traditional organisational, geographical and professional boundaries and a demonstrable understanding of the ethos of managed clinical networks are essential.
Applications are open to all clinicians in NHS Scotland with the relevant experience and required qualifications, and if in a substantive role, applicants must have the support of their Clinical Director for this post to be incorporated into their job plan. The employing NHS Board will be recompensed for the agreed sessional commitment on the basis of evidence of actual backfill costs incurred to release the individual to fulfil the Lead Clinician role requirements.
