NHS Dumfries & Galloway are currently recruiting for a Consultant in Sexual Health to be the Clinical Lead for D&G’s integrated Sexual Health Services.
The post is full time but consideration will be given to applicants who wish less hours. Applicants who hold a CCT (or within 6 months of obtaining one) will also be considered with a view to a graduated mentorship as Clinical Lead.
Based in Dumfries, this post is an attractive opportunity to join a supportive team. The postholder will provide complex sexual and reproductive healthcare, genitourinary medicine (excluding HIV care), shared provision of male sterilisation and work collaboratively with the Obstetrics and Gynaecology team, in the provision of Community Gynaecology services or Abortion services. Working within an established team, you will have the opportunity to develop services and, as Lead Clinician, will be in a position to represent NHS Dumfries & Galloway at committees, meetings and events at both local and national levels.
