CLINICAL EFFECTIVENESS WORKSTREAM 

Infection Prevention &Control /Quality Improvement

An opportunity has arisen at NHS Education for Scotland (NES) for a Dental Tutor to contribute to the development and delivery of a full range of education and training programmes in infection prevention and control (IPC) and Quality Improvement for health and social care professionals in Scotland.

We are seeking a DCP with experience of IPC who would welcome the opportunity to work within the Clinical Effectiveness National Workstream. This post is a national post and the base will be flexible.  This is exciting and rewarding work which aims to support dental teams in maintaining and updating their knowledge and skills in IPC practice and in helping to ensure that they are enabled to deliver safe, person-centre and effective high quality dental care.

Joining a highly dynamic team within NHS Education for Scotland you will work with the National Workstream Lead and Business Manager(s) as well as a team of Dental Tutors to plan, schedule and deliver a co-ordinated programme of IPC education and training across Scotland, ensuring a consistent approach is delivered in all centres, through standardised business processes.

You will be expected to deal with email and telephone queries from a variety of professionals in a courteous and professional manner.  You should have relevant experience of IPC.  As an effective team player, you will possess excellent organisational, communication and IT skills. Some experience of online learning would be valuable.
