We are looking for two pharmacists to join our pharmacy team and work in the pharmacy department at the weekend. You will work 1 day each weekend (845 – 445), rotating between a Saturday and a Sunday.
The Golden Jubilee Hospital is the home to the West of Scotland Regional Heart and Lung Centre and has an extended Orthopaedic Surgery programme.
The Pharmacy Department is well integrated across the hospital and the post holder will work within our friendly pharmacy team and be an essential part of the wider multidisciplinary teams. This is an exciting time to join our Pharmacy team as we develop our clinical services and try innovative ways of working. This new post has been funded on a permanent basis to support our recovery plan in response to Covid.
You will be responsible for supporting other team members at the weekend to provide a pharmacy service to our patients. You will work within the dispensary and in-patient setting providing pharmaceutical care to patients.
It is essential that you have a Masters Degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and be a member of the General Pharmaceutical Council of Great Britain. In addition, you will have completed your Stage 2 training or equivalent and be (or working towards being) an Independent Prescriber.
