This is a replacement for a vacancy within the Management Accounts function of the Finance Department, providing professional management information and reporting for the Corporate Directorate. This finance role will report to the Head of Management Accounts for delivery of the key financial objectives related to the Board Financial Management services.

The post-holder will be responsible for the financial reporting and Directorate budget of circa £30m (subject to expansion).

Key responsibilities include to manage the day to day workload of the 0.50-wte management accounts support staff aligned to the Directorate ensuring that timescales are adhered to, reports produced are of a quality and standard that meets the needs of the directorate and that all requests for information or costing analysis are dealt with in a timely and professional manner.

To assist the wider Management Accounts team with the provision of monthly and weekly payroll analysis to support management information in addition to completion of complex cost and benchmarking returns as delegated by the Assistant Director of Finance.

Applicants must have experience in a Management Accounting environment. Problem solving and analytical skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required. NHS experience is advantageous but not essential.
