(In line with the national reform aims of the Scottish Government’s Health& Social Care Delivery Plan, Public Health & Intelligence will become part of a new Public Health Body for Scotland, to be known as Public Health Scotland.  This means that as a result, all employees will be transferred to the new organisation which is anticipated to be during 2019/2020.)
    
We have an amazing opportunity for you to join our team.  As one of our Principal Information Analysts you will:
•    Analyse and link data to improve services for and the lives of the people of Scotland
•    Use a wide range of data sources and powerful analytics tools to provide insight that supports better decision making
•    Provide robust evidence to influence the future shape of health and care services
•    Present complex data effectively through the use of data visualisation techniques
•    Support Health and Social Care Integration and Primary Care Clusters across Scotland access and analyse our many data sets
•    Support academics to deliver state of the art research projects
•    Lead, manage and motivate a team. Some travel may be expected.

Successful candidates will be based mainly in Edinburgh or Glasgow area.  However, ISD do have staff located in other parts of Scotland.
