The ihub provides support for the redesign and continuous improvement of Health and Social Care services. With an impressive range of improvement support programmes, we aspire to be at the leading edge of both thinking and practice in quality improvement. The successful candidates will demonstrate strong skills in quality improvement and will have experience of involving people meaningfully in health or social care decision-making throughout their work. They will also have an interest in taking a user-led approach to improvement and design.

We are looking for someone with excellent communication and interpersonal skills which reflect the person-centred ethos of the ihub as well as the ability to connect with a wide range of stakeholders. Educated to Masters level or have equivalent training or experience, you should have the ability to work with the team and stakeholders to effectively coach, mentor and consult. Strong project management and design skills are essential to effectively manage change as well as a good working knowledge of Microsoft applications to support project delivery.

People-led Care Portfolio

The Collaborative Communities team (within the People-led Care Portfolio) focuses on supporting the design, commissioning and delivery of health and social care services in the context of integration.

We are looking for someone with an interest in person-centred practice and ‘what matters’ to communities and individuals to support delivery of our community solutions programme within our Collaborative Communities team. This will involve working in partnership with third sector, community based and statutory health and social care services to support community-led initiatives. The evidence from this programme will be used to inform change at a national level.

Primary Care Portfolio

The Primary Care team are at a key stage in the implementation of our workplan, with the focus over the next few years on supporting improvement across primary care settings including health and social care. This work will be innovative and complex and this role will be instrumental in engaging with a variety of health and social care organisations to deliver this programme of work. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved in national programmes that have a direct impact on patient care and outcomes.
