To assist both Team Leads and the Head of Health and Safety in supporting the delivery of the NHS Lothian Health and Safety Management System to ensure as a minimum compliance with health and safety legislation; Key responsibilities include for example the ability to produce written reports in a clear and concise manner and to write and review policies and procedures.
To work with the operational Heads of Service and their management teams as directed by the Lead Adviser, in the management and control of health and safety risks.
Chartered member of IOSH (CMIOSH), or at least be graduate level qualified in health and safety (NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent) and actively progressing, via IPD, to Chartered Status. The candidate must have the ability to influence key stakeholders within a large complex organizational structure.
