We require a Specialist Band 6 Biomedical Scientist /Clinical Scientist in Histocompatibility and Immunogenetics to provide a highly specialised, quality service and rotate through each section within the department i.e. antibody detection & identification, molecular typing and donor-recipient crossmatching. Performing, analysing and interpreting a broad range of tests to provide a comprehensive Histocompatibility & Immunogenetics service in support of transplantation and disease association.
A BSc honours degree in Biomedical Science or equivalent and HCPC registration is essential.
Participation in out of hours to support solid organ transplantation is mandatory.
