We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic and hardworking Practice Nurse to join dedicated Nursing Team at TorryMedical Practice to provide high quality care to our patients in an environment of warmth and understanding. The ideal candidate will play an active role within the practice to contribute to the maintenance of our high standards and help develop patient services for the future.
We have a list size of around 7000 patients. Responsibilities include wound management, health screening, cervical smears, chronic disease management, immunisations and other general treatment room duties. Training and experience in Chronic Disease Management, diabetes and cardiovascular disease management would be advantageous.
The successful applicant should be comfortable accepting responsibility and be able to work independently, delivering a high standard of care. You will require good IT skills, to be able to work as part of a team and have some flexibility to work additional hours to help with cover during annual leave or sick leave.
