Are you an experienced Administrator looking for the next step in your career? Are you someone with a ‘can do’ attitude who is passionate about working with colleagues to make a difference? Can you demonstrate good project management skills to work with us to support the administration service?

Working with ICASS colleagues you will lead a team of administration staff within ICASS and the wider community team to co-ordinate and support the administration function of the clinical team.

As part of the administration team, you will be a competent individual who can offer approach to drive service improvement forward.  With excellent communication skills, positive approach, project management knowledge and HR administration experience, you will join a team that works innovatively to take forward change.

The overall aim of the ICASS Team is improving the quality of care and outcomes for older people with the intention of allowing them to remain independent within their own homes or communities.

It is intended that ICASS will enable a person centred and integrated focus on hospital at home, hospital admission / discharge, intermediate care and re-ablement and will provide seamless care for older people through closer alignment of service provision.   

This post will lead the administration team supporting referrals to ICASS / Assessment & Rehabilitation, including the Single Point of Access Team to this Fife-wide service based at Whyteman’s Brae Hospital, Kirkcaldy and Queen Margaret Hospital, Dunfermline.
 
You should be educated to HND / Degree level or have equivalent NHS experience.  An excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office packages including Excel is vital as you will be required to support the team manage an electronic referral system and database. Excellent telephone and communication skills will be essential as well as the ability to work flexibly including some PHs on a rotational basis.  A positive outlook in relation to high quality customer care and team working is also required.
