This is an exciting opportunity to take a key role as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in leading and further developing the Adult Mental Health Physiotherapy Service across NHS Forth Valley.

You will have a varied complex caseload incorporating patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment and discharge or onward referral, and have responsibility for the supervision, education and development of other team members, volunteers and students within the speciality. You will provide specialist resource to other healthcare staff/Volunteers/patients/carers and have an active involvement in clinical governance, clinical effectiveness and research.

You will be the AHP clinical lead on the physical health and mental wellbeing agenda for adults with moderate severe mental illness.

In line with the national challenges around Covid-19, we are looking to continue the provision of skilled services to Adults with a moderate/severe mental health diagnosis and explore how we can do this utilising digital platforms.

We are currently going through a period of service redesign thus we would welcome applications from innovative physiotherapists who have a clinical interest in adult mental health, have a drive to improve services, support staff wellbeing and have a strong collaborative approach to care.

The successful candidate(s) will be HCPC registered. Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.
