NHS Forth Valley Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) are recruiting for an Assistant Psychologist. This post will be a fixed term for 1 year. You will be in a tier three multi-disciplinary mental health service for children aged 0 – 18 years and their families. You must have a degree in psychology with a good Honours degree and be eligible for GBR. Knowledge of psychological theory and models of application is essential along with a sound knowledge of research methodology and data collection. You should have knowledge of pertinent policy and legislation impacting on children and families as well as excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and IT skills. 

NHS Forth Valley CAMHS is characterised by a team dedicated to providing best practice in CAMHS. We have a varied in-house programme of supervision and CPD and there are opportunities for external training. We also have very good links with partner agencies and national bodies.
