An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced, ambitious Health Care Support Worker (HCSW) to join the Nursing Midwifery and Allied Health Professions (NMAHP) Practice Education and Development team within NHS Grampian.
Working as an Associate Practice Educator, you will be directly involved in supporting work-based learning for HCSWs across NHS Grampian. A key part of the role will be to support the co-ordination and delivery of HCSW Induction and Employability Programmes, therefore you should be someone with excellent organisational and planning skills. You will also play a key role in helping to support the development of a new innovative HCSW Academy within NHS Grampian. You will be expected to support HCSWs with the acquisition of clinical skills in simulated and ward-based settings as appropriate to your own clinical experience.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience as a HCSW and be educated to SCQF Level 7 or equivalent. A proven interest in supporting education, training or professional development is essential. The successful candidate will be fully supported to develop their facilitation, coaching and leadership skills. You will have professional supervision and access to a wide network of practice educators, including other Associate Practice Educators within NHS Grampian.
