Research Nurse

We are looking to recruit a nurse to an exciting and challenging research post that will be based within the Clinical Pharmacology Unit in NHS Grampian. The post will allow you to develop the research nurse skills required to deliver exceptional clinical and research care to participants/patients involved in a variety of research studies.
You will be involved with assessing and managing the patients participating in the studies. This includes recruitment, education and monitoring of study patients and collection of accurate, confidential data. You will be working closely with a number of senior research nurses on the various projects. In addition to liaising closely with clinical staff in hospital and community care settings you will be collaborating with Clinical Trials Units and other centres throughout the UK.
The post will provide an opportunity for an experienced nurse looking for a career in clinical research. Previous experience in research is not necessary as full training will be provided. We are looking for a nurse who has broad range of experience and is keen to learn, able to manage a caseload of patients/volunteers under supervision, have a flexible approach and who will work to the high standard required in research.
