18 Month Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity.
An exciting opportunity has arisen to provide operational leadership and management of Covid-19 Testing Operations in NSS, supporting Scotland’s continuing recovery and renewal from the COVID-19 pandemic.
We are seeking to appoint two Operations Managers within the NSS Covid-19 Test and Protect programmes.
Reporting to the Acting Associate Director you will have operational management responsibility for delivery of Covid-19 testing operations across Scotland. This is a high profile, demanding and fast paced area of work making a significant contribution to the response to the Covid-19 pandemic. Working to challenging deadlines and ensuring that testing is available to those who need it right across the country.
You will quickly build knowledge and credibility with a range of stakeholders including UK Government, Scottish Government and NHS Health Boards, making decisions to enable the widest possible access to testing across the country. The roles offer an exciting opportunity to make a significant contribution to the citizens of Scotland using your decision making, communication and planning skills.
Educated to degree level or equivalent and preferably with a post graduate qualification in information or business, you will have significant experience in a senior operational role within a public sector or large complex organisation, and as such can demonstrate exceptional verbal and written communication skills and highly developed planning, organisational and decision making skills.
