NHS Grampian is recruiting to New Graduate Midwives (NGM).
We are looking for motivated, and enthusiastic midwives, who have recently qualified or are about to qualify, to join us in NHS Grampian on a permanent contract basis to work across the service in both hospital and community teams.

You will be highly motivated and passionate about delivering high quality person centred care to women and families in line with our organisational values. You will have the ability to work effectively within busy teams who care for a population of women with diverse health and social care needs and also be able to work in partnership with other health related agencies.
Variable working hours are available across the service.
NHS Grampian has a strong commitment to provide support for new graduate midwives through a structured development programme.
The aim of this programme is to provide a broad base of experience with post graduate development opportunities across inpatient, outpatient and community settings. All NGM’s will be supported to complete Flying Start NHS in their first year. NHS Grampian is keen to support further academic study at Master’s level.
This structured progression route provides NGM’s with the opportunity to consolidate their learning and develop knowledge, skills and competence in supportive learning environments across our hospital and community teams.
NHS Grampian is committed to the delivery of Best Start and this structured progression route will prepare you to work in this model as the service transitions to the development of Continuity of Carer teams.
NGM’s will also be supported through our Connect 5 Forum.
