A vital part of NHS Scotland, NSS’ mission is to enable and support the delivery of better health and better care working in partnership. We do this by providing a range of specialised services that enable NHS Boards to focus their efforts on delivering health improvement and patient care.
The role of HR Services is to provide a wide range of professional services such as terms and conditions of service and policy advice and guidance. Members of this team require to be forward thinking and imaginative with the drive and self-motivation to deliver a customer focused service.
A good understanding of HR practices and a professional, confident and flexible approach is essential to balance the needs of the customers with the requirement to adhere to policy and process.
The ideal candidates should be working towards full Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development Accreditation or equivalent level of experience in a multi-disciplined human resources environment. The candidates should ideally have experience of HR systems and be computer literate with standard Microsoft packages.
The posts will be based in Edinburgh; however travel to other NSS sites to attend meetings will be required.
