Registered General Nurse / Theatre Practitioners - Acute Hospitals 

The Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, The Western General Hospital, St John's Hospital and The Princess Alexandra Eye Pavilion. 


NHS Lothian have a number of exciting Band 5 Registered Nursing & Theatre Practitioner opportunities within our Acute Hospital settings. This advert covers a wide range of directorates within these Acute sites, including but not limited to: 


Theatres & Transplant (all sites) 

A diverse range of roles across the NHS Lothian Theatres directorate, including Transplant, Neurosciences and Recovery. 

Major Trauma (Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh)

          The Major Trauma Centres will allow patients with major trauma to receive care from a specialist Major Trauma Service and early access to acute rehabilitation.

Medical Admissions Unit (MAU) - St John's Hospital, Livingston

MAU provides acute medical care within a dynamic, fast paced environment. 

Critical Care (RIE)

Critical Care Nursing focuses on providing the utmost care for critically ill or unstable patients following extensive injury, surgery or potentially a life threatening disease.
