The Young People’s Unit provides intensive in patient assessment, care and treatment for North of Scotland adolescents within the age range of 12 to 18 years who suffer from major psychiatric disorder, which cannot be met within an out patient or intensive outreach/home based treatment service. We offer a broad range of therapeutic interventions, including individual group and family work. The Regional Inpatient Unit is a multidisciplinary unit that takes referrals from across the North of Scotland, you will form a part of the psychological therapies service in the unit which will comprise of a Consultant Clinical Psychologist a Clinical Psychologist and a Systemic Therapist (this post). As a senior clinician in the unit you will be expected to take on a leadership role and have a clinical role with the young people in the unit.
