Our goal is to maintain the highest standards to patient care.
We are looking for a friendly, confident and outgoing health care support worker to provide quality- care and support the regional Clinical Apheresis Unit based at the Beatson, West of Scotland Cancer Centre. You will become a member of the team assisting in the delivery of the apheresis service which includes blood stem cell collection, photopheresis, plasma and red cell exchange. Venepuncture skills are desirable and good communication skills are essential for this role. Experience in an acute hospital environment is desirable. This permanent post will be based at the Beatson West of Scotland Cancer Centre. The unit is open Mon- Fri 09.00 -17.00 and hours worked are by negotiation. To be discussed at interview.
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a PVG Scheme Disclosure/Disclosure Scotland check. Any candidate who has worked overseas for more than 3 months will also be required to provide a criminal record check from the appropriate overseas agency
