Clinical Laboratories within the National Waiting Times Centre has a vacancy for a Specialist Biomedical Scientist with experience in microbiology. The successful applicant will also be required to undergo additional basic training in haematology, transfusion and biochemistry to support the department’s drive towards a multi-disciplinary laboratory service.
Dependent on experience of successful applicant they will be expected and supported to undertake the IBMS Specialist Diploma in Microbiology.
The hours of work are 37.5 hour’s week and participation in out of hours is mandatory and subject to agenda for change terms and conditions.
