The Clinical Psychologist will be responsible for providing and developing Clinical Psychology services for older people within the agreed localities of NHS Lanarkshire. To contribute to the provision and development of Clinical Psychology services for older people in other areas of NHS Lanarkshire.
Good Honours degree in psychology (2.1 or above)
Post graduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology
Registered with the Health Professions Council as a Clinical Psychologist
Post qualification training in clinical supervision accredited by a relevant training course
Post-qualification experience (or equivalent) of supervised clinical practice
Experience of working with older people
Maintenance of mandatory training requirements set by NHS Lanarkshire
A commitment to post qualification CPD according to BPS guidelines
A working knowledge of other mental health professions
A knowledge of BPS, NHS and other relevant legal and ethical guidelines
Full driving licence is essential for this role
