About the Role

In light of the Covid-19 pandemic, we are working in innovative ways to ensure we can provide the best possible support for our community.  With that in mind, we are developing our Immunisation Team.  This new team will support vaccination and immunisation programmes across Dumfries & Galloway, including Covid-19 vaccinations.

 As part of this exciting new development, we are recruiting for a team of Healthcare Support Worker Vaccinators who meet the current National (UK ) Immuniser Training Standards’ to provide additional support within our Immunisation Team.  This is a great opportunity to develop additional skills and to work in a friendly, welcoming team dedicated to providing vaccines to our community.

As a Healthcare Support Worker Vaccinator in this team, you will:

• Receive full training on safely and effectively administering vaccinations
• Following training, will be working as a Band 3 HCSW in the team
• Work in a multi professional team across the Health Board area
