Are you a Senior Health Care Support Worker looking to expand your knowledge and develop new clinical skills? The Outpatients department is looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to join the OPD nursing team as an Associate Practitioner/Trainee Associate Practitioner.
The Outpatients department provides a variety of local and specialist services including; surgical, medical, gynaecology, ENT, ophthalmology, sleep diagnostics and many more. The successful applicant will have the opportunity to gain a wide range of skills across a variety of specialities.
The Associate Practitioner role requires enhancement and expansion of the skills set of a SHCSW. In house training will be provided to develop the enhanced clinical skills required to support local and visiting services. The successful applicant will also undertake and complete learning via the Open University (modules K102, K104 and K236). Learning is undertaken alongside work commitments, the ability to manage and prioritise time is essential. You will work at Band 3 level until competencies complete.
Applicants are required to have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise work load and problem solve are essential.
